BAPTISM
The first step in preparing for a Baptism is to participate in the Baptism classes. These four classes cover our Lutheran theology of baptism, walk through the sacrament of Holy Baptism and begin the process of building relationships with other families and the church.

Once the classes are complete, baptisms may be scheduled. Baptisms are only celebrated during worship services.
WEDDINGS
Marriage is a holy and special bond. A wedding celebration is an act of joyful worship. It is a reflection of your relationship with the God of love and an occasion for asking God’s blessing on your life together.

All couples who are interested in being married at St. John's need to contact the church office to begin the wedding preparation process.

One cannot assume that the church and/or pastor will be available for the date you have in mind. Please do not set a date or make any arrangements for your wedding prior to your scheduled consultation with the pastor.
FUNERALS
Funerals are scheduled and planned in consultation with the pastor. The purpose of the service is to provide comfort and strength to mourners, to give thanks to God for the life of the deceased, and, above all, to bear witness to the hope of Christian faith.
